Not at all, Xiangling is in fact a very talented chef, a master of the culinary arts I would say. However, she does have a tendency to get overexcited in her experimentation in the creation of new dishes. After all most people aren't willing to partake in any dish that has something like slime condensate or lizard tails as an ingredient.

As for weaponizing her creations. She has no ill intent, believe me, she is very honest and hardworking. Although, now that you mention perhaps I implement those dishes in the future. Yes, I may ask her to cater for me one day.

That's quite all right. I am always willing to consider any source when it comes to recommendations. After all, memorability is a highlight of good literature. Written work that not only seeks to entertain but within the text perused can be found some insight into some author's framework of thought.

So, please do not apologize, you have given me a few titles in which I can start my venture into published works to be found through this land. From there I can garner through the authors' other novels and writings. Therefore you have my gratitude. I shall seek these works posthaste.

Isn't that true of most areas within the city? From experience, I've found there to be at least one individual or another mindlessly seeking combat. It's an inconvenience.
As for my present location, that would be within the lodgings I've found for myself. But should I infer you wish to meet? I can make the necessary arrangements.

No, no. I can find enjoyment in festivities but when it comes to food, my tastes differ.
As for avoiding joining everyone at the parade, my concern comes with the tasks likely to be assigned.

I hadn't given thought to anything strange or immoral.
It's a festival after all and I don't believe the alliance has a niche in those categories.

I was only hoping to avoid dull and tedious work.

But it is a festival. Very well, I'll make time, but the truth is I do have plans of my own.

My plan is to probably dress up, look pretty, and make sure customers are happy.
Probably throw out said customers too if they misbehave, but I'm just guessing.

Well what do you know, our plans are somewhat similar.
Well, not so much the pretty part nor do I intend to make customers happy.
Just content enough that I'll see payment at the end.
But there is no clan secret. It's my own.
And it can only remain a secret so as long as it's held by a single person alone.
