Good evening, I do hope I am not interrupting or being an inconvenience but there is something I have been wondering. Actually, I have two questions. I figured for both you would be a great source of information. Okay, the first, it has to do with a term I've heard. So then, what is a boomer?

Next, I am looking for some recommendations. Surprised? I suppose not. But the next part might be for you see rather than novels, this time I seek to watch a few films. What would you say would be a good watch to pass the time?

Hey there! To answer your questions:

1) "Boomer" is a specific type of aura one emits. Stubborn, willingly blind to what's in front of them, entitled, and overall just unpleasant. There's more to it, but I wouldn't encourage its use here.

2) Some films to pass the time... I'll give you three, all are pretty different. The "Neverending Story" is good, I like "Chef" for a more laidback situation and all the food, and for a horror film... "The Exorcist."

But after all the cursed blood rain, you'll have to decide if you'd like some horror in your movie diet or not.

Hm. For some reason, I had the impression that word was much more nuanced than that, but it appears it is entirely viewed in a negative light. There is no need for concern, there is no intention to include it in my vocabulary but I do enjoy gaining knowledge and a bit of perspective. Aside from that, I was not the only one curious about that word. So this information doesn't only help me.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I do believe that the last selection is also the title of a book. I know without a doubt the first is a novel, I do actually own a copy that I obtained a little over a month prior. Now, this is going to be curious.

Oh. Right. That blood. I think I've mostly kept it out of my mind. Because. I was at home or things.

Well, there is nuance, but I think you might as well read a book about the term. Maybe some other time.

I think you'll have fun then if you've already read the book. Novel to film adaptations are always fun to make contrasts and comparisons to.

Adaption. Of course, I do imagine there would be changes needed. Already knowing that most films have a run time of under two hours means certain aspects of the novels must be compressed. Very well. That's what I'll do. I'll take my time to watch these films. I guess I'll dress myself up, might as well make use of that garment.

That is bound to happen while eating popcorn, although I believe it's far from fancy. Perhaps using a utensil would help. I am only kidding, of course, even I am aware that would be silly. I'll skip the popcorn, I don't want to make a mess of my books. I'll have them out for reference while I make comparisons.

I try to read responsibly most of the time. Fear not, I'll read by candlelight.

Questionable, but reading by candlelight sounds like something I should do if nothing but for atmosphere

You should know I was kidding. Seriously. I wouldn't suggest it. Candles typically don't provide ample light. I am sure it would be bad for your eyesight.
